Headquartered in Holzminden, Germany, Symrise is a globally renowned supplier of flavors, fragrances, natural ingredients, and pet food, with origins dating back to 1874.

The group produces approximately 35,000 products, employs 12,700 people worldwide, serves over 6,000 customers, and is listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Its 2024 revenue reached about USD 5 billion.

In 2016, Symrise established a production site in BioSpark with an annual capacity of 45,000 tons. In December 2017, it set up Symrise (China) Investment Co., Ltd. to manage national investments, which was recognized as a multinational regional headquarters in China by provincial authorities in September 2019.
